Our set showed up a couple hours ago – small dimple in the metal casing on the top/back/center, not seen from front and doesn’t appear to affect anything at all.
Picture is very wonderful (understand, we’re coming from a 25 year old The new sony console/tube).
The menu/setup provides many presets for the picture and also sound. First thing Used to was to plug in your network cable to do the firmware upgrade.
Your on-board tuner picked up Fifty five OTA channels, our Roku will be plugged into HDMI-1 and the The bluray in HDMI-2. Picture from each is fantastic and brings our purposes room to life. We hooked up both the aged tube console along with the Panasonic (we’re using the gaming system as the stand for the particular Panasonic right now) simultaneously to match and it’s obviously an enormous amount of difference.
I have been the holdout for years refusing to stop our tubes since they were still working good (which they still do), but, the price ended up being right – so it was time to come into the 21st century. Hopefully we will get many years out of it – at least Panasonic VIERA TC-P50X3 coordinating the 20+ we’ve received out of the console it is replacing.
Only issue that could have made the idea better – if I had waited a short time more before buying since the price dropped much more. Still very happy even though.
